I started my first NP job in February and was honestly panicking before every patient. I keep this on my desk and flip to the chief complaint while I'm typing notes. Cannot recommend enough for new grads, you will actually use this every single day.

My preceptor saw me using it and asked where I got it lol. The red flags section alone has saved me from missing stuff twice now. It's so much faster than pulling up UpToDate between patients. Spiral binding is clutch too, lays totally flat.

Been an FNP for 3 years and still reach for this constantly. Peds and geri sections are way better than my old textbook. The 2026 update covers everything that changed with the new guidelines. If you're a new grad just buy it, you'll thank yourself later.
